Urban and rural settlements

Whilst the Roman civilization may have been built about urban living, the majority of the population lived in the countryside. I am interested, and have developed methodologies for integrating data from different collection methodologies in order to characterize, and further analyse how an urban centre interacted with its rural hinterland.
